Wittmund Airport – 29 June 2013
Once you land the planes we moved to go to photograph what we had not seen yet.
Around rumors of Special Color a go-go and did not want to lose them. In fact, scattered in front of the base to the various shelters, various aircraft were parked, all very interesting. Almost all Special Color, some with only the colored tail, other with all surfaces. Tornado, F 18, F 16, Typhoon, all Special: a riot of colors !!!
Besides these there was also an A 4Q skyhawk with colors Israelis and various loads ventral.
Meanwhile the sun has finally taken possession of the sky and this has allowed us to take pictures with a more decent light.
In addition, the star of the day, i 4 Phantom that were gone in flight, were parked on the bypass taxiway, next to 2 Typhoon arrived to relieve him. We took the opportunity to Canonize these a little more.
Overall a great opportunity, ruined a little by bad weather me that, at the end, it "turned out" very well. Well organized (always eats) by the Luftwaffe was, in my opinion, the European event of the year.
